‘Sticks and Stones in Watercolour and Pastel with
Diana Bradshaw
About Diana
From a young age, Diana developed a passion for making marks on paper, beginning with realistic oil painting during her teenage years and later mastering architectural drawing while studying Interior Design.
Her diverse artistic background includes experience in visual merchandising and floristry, alongside attending classes and workshops conducted by local, interstate, and international artists across different mediums.
To enhance her observational skills, Diana regularly attends life drawing and portrait drawing sessions, as well as painting en plein air. In her own artistic practice, she specializes in watercolour painting and drawing with soft pastels, using her extensive collection of reference photos gathered from travels throughout Australia to create impressionistic artworks.
Diana also shares her expertise as a tutor for a watercolour class, providing demonstrations and workshops for various art groups in watercolour and pastel techniques.
Her artwork has been recognized with awards and is cherished in private collections both in Australia and overseas.
